WorkRep email addresses are not public or company addresses but rather privately owned. I.P. addresses are logged and the sending of abusive emails will be the subject of lawful action.

Spam emails

For companies that like to send us spam/advertising/promotions etc; Please be aware that the owner of this privately owned website does not wish to receive unsolicited advertising or any other 'offers' or representations whatsoever when of a commercial nature. Should you nevertheless wish to send WorkRep 'spam', please note that you have the owner's permission to send emails that are not directly relevant to the purpose of this website (that of defending and advising workers needing advice before and after tribunal hearings)only on condition that you agree to pay our Standard Charge of £1,000 per email received by WorkRep will apply when that email contains 'spam'/advertising/any other correspondence or offers in furtherance of commerce or advertising etc.

After the first unsolicited email you send us you agree to add a 100% surcharge onto the Standard Rate. For example for the 2nd unsolicited email you send WorkRep you will owe WorkRep's owner £1,000 + £1,000 = £2,000. The surcharge will compound itself for each future unsolicited 'spam' email sent to us. (If we write to you concerning your sending WorkRep of 'spam' or other unsolicited emails, we of course accept that you or your solicitors will wish to communicate with us in reply without fear of penalty). For example, for a third unsolicited email, the Standard charge will apply, plus £1,000, plus another £1,000 representing the third unsolicited email sent to us. For further unsolicited emails you agree that the surcharge will continue to compound so that for your 4th unsolicited email you will owe WorkRep £4,000, for the fifth, £5,000 and so on.

In sending WorkRep unsolicited emails of a commercial nature you thereby agree that your sending of unsolicited 'spam' emails will incur the standard charge plus any relevant surcharge for 'spam' emails upon our receipt of any such emails ( 'spam' = those emails not related to requests for help and advice, not related to other legitimate enquiries related to our core activities (An example of a legitimate enquiry however would be a journalist wishing to interview a case worker regarding Workrep's activities).

When sending us any emails you agree that UK law applies, and that in case of disagreement as to the definitionn of a 'legitimate' email or of the definition of a 'spam' email, this will be defined by an English judge in an English court of law ). You must pay WorkRep all charges within one week of sending us any emails of a commercial/'spam'/advertising nature to avoid interest charges of 8% per annum.

Should your company have visted our site and copied our email addresses, WorkRep gives its permission for you to send 'spam' emails on the condition of payment of our Standard Charge(s) and the Surcharge(s) when applicable. This offer only applies to companies using email addresses that they directly copied our email address(es) from our website.

Should your business have received our email addresses from another source and not taken it(/them) directly from our website please note that we do not give permission for you to use our addresses received in this way. We never give our permission to any 3rd party to use or take our emails or to exploit them commercially in any way such as selling them on as part of a list. If you buy our email addresses as part of a 'spam' or bulk mailing list please note that you do not under any circumstances have our permission to use our address(es) to send us any communications whatsoever. If you do so you will be acting against the law and WorkRep's owner will act accordingly to lawfully protect his legitimate interests.
