It can give advice on employment issues, as well as act as a conduit between employer and employee in order to arrive at a settlement before a tribunal hearing. ACAS acts impartially but you should be careful to only share with ACAS information that you are happy for the other side to know.
Equality & Human Rights Commission : A government established body amalgamating the Commissions dealing with Equality, Disability & Race. Only rarely on matters of public policy will they be prepared to conduct a tribunal case themselves for you.
